shocked fans and gossip circles earlier this month when they announced the dissolution of their relationship after six years of mostly under-the-radar dating.
Now it turns out that just before the separation, the two planned to move into a particularly expensive property.
The British website The Mirror reports that shortly before Swift and Alvin parted ways, they submitted an offer for the purchase of a huge mansion in North London, where they planned to move to in the future.
The equivalent mansion has seven bedrooms, a wine cellar and even a staff living area worth 8.3 million pounds. In case you were wondering how much that is in shekels, Voila! Celebs did the math for you and it is a modest sum of 37,858,198 NIS.
Now it remains to be seen which of the two will win the special property, if at all they will bother to complete the purchase, since according to the report on the Sun website, the land registry states that the purchase is still subject to completion.
Sweep and Alvin met at the Met Gala in 2016 and started dating a few months later.
Their relationship first became public in 2017 and since then has remained fairly under the radar, with the two making sure to keep it private and rarely speaking to her or being photographed together in public.
In 2020, there were even rumors of an engagement and even a secret wedding of the couple, after in the singer's documentary "Miss Americana" that aired on Netflix, she wore a particularly shiny ring that was suspected to be a wedding ring, rumors that were never verified by either party.
