(ANSA) - TEHRAN, APRIL 16 - Iran and Venezuela have signed a memorandum of understanding on the development of oil and gas fields, on the renewal of Venezuelan oil refineries and petrochemical complexes and on oil trade.
The documents were signed in Caracas in the presence of Iranian and Venezuelan oil ministers Javad Owji and Pedro Rafael Tellechea.
They were also signed by Venezuelan vice president Delcy Rodríguez According to the Mehr agency, the Iranian minister, at the head of a delegation, arrived in Venezuela on Thursday to hold talks on promoting Tehran-Caracas cooperation in the downstream and upstream sectors.
