For the art world, which capitals matter?

We talk a lot about the newfound attractiveness of Paris, with the arrival of Art Basel - the all-powerful Swiss fair which unceremoniously dethroned the Fiac - and the breakthrough of Art Paris which broke an attendance record for its 25th anniversary.

But Brussels has never lost it, with its rich network of institutions, foundations and collections for decades!

Like the long-distance runner, without boasting, the capital has risen in the ranks in the long term, to impose itself with its Art Brussels fair, 39th edition, which has become an institution.

It is one of the oldest in Europe.

And the event maintains, once again this year, its reputation as a discovery fair, its major asset, with its “discovery” sector, under its green banners.
