An Australian businesswoman used her influence on TikTok to consult her followers about an outfit for a friend's wedding.
Olivia Burros filmed a video in which she asked her 73,000 followers to help her choose the top she would wear to the wedding along with a pink skirt she had already chosen.
In the video, Olivier explained that she had to give up two long dresses because of the hot weather expected at the wedding.
She then revealed the pink skirt that cost her $525 and showed how it looked paired with three different tops, all quite revealing - eventually opting for a white strapless top that left her stomach exposed.

Although she claimed to love her outfit, Olivier received a lot of negative comments online from surfers who claimed her strapless outfit was "inappropriate for a wedding" and too revealing.
"I didn't expect this outfit to cause controversy, but I know when it comes to a wedding everyone has their opinion," Olivier told a local news site.
Olivier said that the bride and groom really liked her outfit: "I realized that this is not a typical outfit for a wedding. However, fashion has evolved and it is popular to wear two pieces. If they had a different dress code, I would follow it."

"The skirt is great, but I don't think the top is suitable for a wedding, sorry."
