A world that, in the era of digital streaming, is unexpectedly making a comeback thanks to and in parallel with the great popularity of vintage among the very young, but not only among indie, rock, punk enthusiasts or collectors who recognize and appreciate the inimitable sound quality of LPs.


Founded in 2007 in the early days of the vinyl revival, the indie record stores' annual celebration has become a permanent fixture on the calendar, with thousands of stores on every continent (except Antarctica) participating.

In Britain alone there are over 260 independent record shops.

About 50 of these can be found in London, including the famous Phonica Records in Soho.


In addition to the planned releases, in Italy and abroad, on the occasion of Record Store Day, the second hand is an inexhaustible reservoir of opportunities to find the rare piece, the collection of the favorite group or simply the record of the heart that has an emotional value .

For example, in the Music and Film category on the Subito platform there are over 22,000 vinyl ads in which to find real treasures from the past, in search of that record that is missing from your loot.

The vinyl treasures of the Italian singer-songwriter


Among the announcements of the vinyls there are naturally some of the greatest Italian artists who have driven entire generations crazy and who remain timeless.

Among those who collect the most announcements are Battisti with over 900 results including Thoughts and Words or My Free Canto and Mina with the 45 rpm of Se Telefonando or the masterpiece LP Mina Fossati.

But also Claudio Baglioni, with announcements that include the album of the love song par excellence, Questo Piccolo Grande Amore in its first pressing, on sale for 100 euros, or the king of stadiums, Vasco Rossi with Vado al Massimo from 1982 or lots of vinyls from 1978 to 1987 for only 300 euros.

Finally Fabrizio De Andrè with rarities such as the double disc Baroque Clouds and Stories of an Employee.


In the paradise of the unobtainable also Italian rap, to name a few Fabri Fibra and Article 31 and pop where the most popular are the 883 specifically with North South West East, also veterans of the sold outs recorded in recent months in Italian arenas and stadiums.

The only announcement of T'Appartengo by Ambra Angiolini stands out at the height of her ascent in Non E' la Rai and today a beloved actress and showgirl, valued at a good 200 Euros.
