On the eve of the 75th Independence Day of the State of Israel, and our sleeping habits are revealed, and it is clear that the tension that prevails in the streets reaches the bed.
In a special survey in which approximately 6,000 respondents participated, conducted by the Swiss System company, it reveals how much time do we usually spend awake in bed and how much do we suffer from snoring?
Israelis have moved their affairs to bed in recent years, if in the 1950s they would have found time to go to bed with a good book or a newspaper and read it a little before going to bed, now the reality has changed.
And the waking time we usually spend in bed has increased: 60% spend between 15 minutes and an hour;
26% between one and two hours and 14% - more than two hours.
But that's not all 47% - not really punctual when they go to bed but around that time with deviations here and there, 25% like habits and go to bed at a fixed time;
28% answered that it changes every day.
And what do we do for so long before bed?
70% watch TV, 13% work on the computer, and 17% still read books before going to bed.

Only a fifth of Israelis (22%) do not wake up during the night.
Almost half of Israelis (48%) wake up twice or more during the night, and 30% stated that they wake up at least once.
It is possible that the stressful and tension-filled life in Israel has a great impact on the quality of our sleep.
Not only waking up during the night but also position and movement affects the quality of sleep, here there is a sharp distribution.
42% move a little, but 57% move a lot.
And regarding the question of whether you or your partner suffer from snoring, 34% answered that to a small extent and 28% answered that they definitely suffer and only 38% answered that they do not at all.

How do Israelis get up in the morning?
On the question of how you feel in the morning after getting out of bed: 56% feel tired, 24% feel a lack of energy and 20% feel pain in the lower back.
58%, by the way, wake up with the help of an alarm clock, about a third of Israelis (33%) wake up with a natural wake-up call, while 9% wake up in other ways.
And how does night sleep affect your activity during the day?
65% answered that sleep greatly affects the course of their day, 24% answered that it affects a little, 11% see no connection between sleep and functioning during the day.
