Is Meghan Markle trying to copy Kate Middleton's look?
At least that's what the New York Post claims, where they reported that Markle appeared for the first time since she announced that she would not attend the coronation of King Charles - and presented a new look that is suspiciously similar to that of her sister-in-law Princess Kate Middleton.
Markle first revealed her slicked-back hairstyle over the weekend when she made a surprise guest appearance via video call at a TED talk by her photographer friend Missan Harriman (who shot her pregnancy photos), sparking speculation among Anglophiles and royal experts on social media.

"Plastic surgery alert? Sad that Meghan Markle wants to be Kate Middleton so badly," wrote one user on Twitter who wondered if the former actress had changed more than just her hair.
Another claimed that Markle also changed the color of her eyes to look like her sister-in-law and said: "OMG. Meghan Markle, pelican and obsessed with the Princess of Wales, wears hazel contact lenses to look like Kate."
On the other hand, Markle's many supporters came out en masse against any claims of cosmetic renovations that the Duchess of Sussex underwent.
"Megan has not had any plastic surgery," one of the defenders stated.
"It's all about lighting, angles and contours. Straightening hair is something many black women do. It has nothing to do with 'erasing all traces of her roots.' Also, white people should shut up about black women's hair."

Other commenters claimed that Markle may not have tried to resemble someone from the royal family but rather other stars: "Is she going for the look of Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian or Jennifer Aniston here?"

Markle has been out of the spotlight in recent months, prompting rumors and speculation that she may have undergone some cosmetic procedures.
"I think Meghan's public absence has been finally explained - and it had nothing to do with the children," claimed one of the commenters.
Others have already provided an exact breakdown of the cosmetic work they believe the Duchess has had.
"Facelift, lip filling with melt, surgery to remove fat from the cheek, more filling in the cheeks, botox, finer teeth coating and chin implant is my guess," an expert summed up in his own eyes all the procedures he is convinced she went through.
"She's had fillers under her eyes and had an eye lift," agreed another commenter.
Official representatives for Markle declined to comment on the new allegations, but close associates of her and Prince Harry told the Post that she denies claims she has had any surgery or cosmetic procedures.
Many sources who worked with Markle said that she gained weight during both pregnancies but finally managed to lose the weight during pregnancy with daughter Lily, which explains her new and fit style.
One of her close friends told The Post that she hasn't changed her face because she "loves" her nose and even uses bronzer to highlight it.
Of course, she did change her hair color — and is likely using Botox and some lip fillers, another source added.
