(ANSA) - MILAN, 25 APR - The national procession on 25 April started in Milan to the tune of 'Bella, Ciao' from Corso Venezia and will end in Piazza Duomo with institutional speeches.
At the head of the procession are, among others, the leaders of the Anpi, with the national president Gianfranco Pagliarulo and that of Milan Roberto Cenati, the exponents of the Aned, the mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala and the general secretary of the Cisl Luigi Sbarra.
Following the Pd that parades behind a banner with the inscription 'Born of the Resistance' with the secretary Elly Schlein who wears the red handkerchief of the Anpi around her neck.
Many anti-war slogans with a large 30m long rainbow flag and the banner reading 'War out of history'.
Also present was the national secretary of the Italian Left Nicola Fratoianni while the Communist Rifondazione displayed posters in the van with which he paraded in the procession asking for the resignation of the President of the Senate Ignazio La Russa for his sentences on via Rasella.
A delegation from the Movimento 5 stelle Lombardo and one from Azione and Italia Viva also participate in the national procession in Milan.
At the demonstration there were also placards against the Democratic Party and NATO with the inscription 'De Pdfichiamo il 25 aprile.
