After the memoirs of Father Mitch Winehouse or the sale of hundreds of the artist's personal items, a new part of his life will be exhibited on the shelves of bookstores.
The book, designed by the parents of Amy Winehouse, must lift the veil on some of the most intimate aspects of her life.
This new book on the singer aims to "
give rare insight into this young girl who has become a legend
", according to the publisher.
He will unveil “
the diaries, handwritten lyrics and family photos.
Amy's parents, Janis and Mitch, took on the task of collecting these unpublished documents, as well as writing the preface for this 288-page book.

This wonderful collection of Amy's notes and musings shows another side of her personality – her funny and piquant side,”
they said in a statement

Janis and Mitch Winehouse defend themselves by saying that the royalties from the book will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
Founded in 2011 in tribute to the star, the charity aims to help young people suffering from addictions.
According to the publisher, "
a minimum of 70,000
pounds sterling
" (about 79,000 euros) will be donated to the foundation.
This sum comes from the advance received by Amy Winehouse's parents from their publisher HarperCollins.
In 2015, the artist's life was already the subject of a documentary titled
Amy
.
Directed by Asif Kapadia, it was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, out of competition, but provoked the fury of the star's parents.
They considered it "
misleading, even containing gross errors
," according to a statement from the family's spokesperson.

Back to Black
, Amy's parents seem to have figured out how to tell their daughter's story.
The biopic highlights the meteoric trajectory of the star until his tragic demise.
The actress Marisa Abel was chosen to play the singer in this film directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson (
Nowhere boy,
Fifty shades of gray
).

will be published on August 28, two weeks before the fortieth birthday of the star, who died of an alcohol overdose in 2011 at the age of 27.
