(ANSA) - BERLIN, 02 MAY - The CEO of Lufthansa, Carsten Spohr, underlined the value of the acquisition of Ita speaking at the group's shareholders' meeting, and announced that the talks with Rome are well advanced.
"The quality of our network and the breadth of our offer would not be imaginable without the multiplicity of our airlines, our stopovers and our brands", according to some German sites, including Finanz Nachrichten.de, "In the sign of a further development of this strategy our talks with the Italian government for a stake in and an acquisition of the ITA company are also on track".
