Visco, 'income and budget measures to fight inflation

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 05 - "The most important lesson" from the experience of the fight against inflation over the past decades in Italy is that "only the coherent and cohesive action of monetary policies, the budget and, to use a somewhat obsolete term , of incomes can successfully counter inflation and quickly bring our country, and the euro area, back on a path of sustained and balanced development".
