Hamburg – For several years now, the survival series 7 vs. Wild has been generating real hype in YouTube Germany.
Inventor Fritz Meinecke has therefore announced the third season.
However, its format will not remain unrivaled for much longer.
A similar series, which is a real mega hit in the USA, is coming to Germany soon.

Which series is coming to Germany?
The survival series that aims to compete with 7 vs. Wild is Alone.
So far, the format has only existed in the USA and a few other countries, in which it is staffed with participants from the same countries.
Now the series should also start in Germany.

What is Alone about?
The concept of Alone is very similar to that of 7 vs. Wild, or rather the other way around, because the American variant is a bit older than Fritz Meinecke's format.
In Alone, ten participants are abandoned in the wild and have to fight for their survival.
They only have ten items available, which they select from a list.

In Alone there are similar dangers as in 7 vs. Wild.
Unlike in Fritz Meinecke's format, the participants are not just in the wilderness for a week, but have to survive 100 days.
That's why only experienced outdoor specialists compete at Alone.
As a reward, the winner is rewarded with a large prize money.

In Germany, Alone is available on Amazon Prime*.
There are now several seasons, not all of which are available on the platform.
So if you're looking forward to several weeks of binge-watching on the sofa, you should lower your expectations a bit.

Participants are currently still being sought for the German version of Alone.
If you are familiar with bushcraft and survival and are not camera shy, you can apply to Alone.
It remains to be seen whether the survival series from the USA will become serious competition for 7 vs. Wild in Germany.
