(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, MAY 07 - Joe Biden has ordered the flags at half-mast on public buildings in memory of the victims of yet another shooting, in a shopping center in Texas.
The president called the massacre "a senseless act".
"Out of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated in Allen, Texas, I direct that over the White House and all public buildings and military bases, at home and abroad, the flag of the United States be flown at half-mast until 'May 11", reads a note from the American president who for months has been asking Congress to approve a law banning assault rifles, "army war", as Biden called them.
