According to the forecasts of Antonio Sanò, founder of the www.iLMeteo.it site, thunderstorms are already expected today due to the passage of a first cyclone that will destabilize the atmosphere, especially in the North East, Central regions and on the two Major Islands. "This type of configuration - underlines Sanò - is quite dangerous for our country as evidenced by several events that occurred in the past when the entry of cold air favored the genesis of a real cyclone on our shores. Given the contrasts between completely different air masses, which are typical of the season, we cannot exclude the risk of storms accompanied by local hailstorms".
The bad weather then, according to the expert, will expand rapidly to most of Italy and indeed it seems that even the second part of the week may be compromised by the rains, due to a second cyclone full of fresh and unstable air descending from Northern Europe capable of causing new violent thunderstorms. So expect temperatures well below the average for the period.
