While the master is on the road, dog Buster should stay in the daycare center. But instead of playing with other animals, the four-legged friend is specifically looking for the camera.
Dog daycare centers are a great way for working people to know that their pet is in good hands despite the lack of time. Owner Leif Henrikson from the US state of Illinois also regularly brings his mongrel Buster into a short-term pension. But the dog would rather go back to his master. His look into the camera speaks volumes: Pick me up again immediately!

Leif Henrikson lives in northern Illinois with his three-year-old dog Buster, a mix of Weimaraner and Pyrenean Mountain Dog. If the owner does not have time, the four-legged friend will be cared for in a day care center. On his last visit, however, Henrikson is amazed. Because the dog misses his master so much that he is apparently looking for the camera.
"He went to a local kennel where we could log in throughout the day and look at the different cameras for each room. He's definitely looking straight into the camera — I immediately took a screenshot on my phone," owner Leif Henrikson tells Newsweek. Amused, he shares his snapshot on Reddit, where the image receives thousands of upvotes and numerous comments from the community.

Dog misses master in the day care center – people on the net love the photo
People on the net love the photo in which Buster seems to grin into the camera – and asks his master with a heart-rending look to pick him up from the dog daycare center. Because, as it turns out, the four-legged friend does not feel very comfortable there. "He's such a mild-mannered boy, but he hated it there," Henrikson explains. "Buster was asked not to come back after chasing another dog across the room that didn't bother him at all. We think he was saying, 'If you don't take me out of here, I'll make sure I'm not welcome here anymore.' Too smart for his own good." The same goes for Labrador Ducky, who flies out of the kennel after 20 minutes.

According to Henrikson, the fact that the dog prefers to be with his master could also be due to his past. "Buster had a tough first year of life – he contracted heartworms and lived in a shelter for over six months. We take every opportunity to brighten up the rest of his life."
