Do you have that most disgusting? Probably not. Tourism vlogger Simon Wilson posted a video on TikTok in which he expresses genuine disgust at a stinky lump of cheese he found inside the fridge of his hotel room in Cyprus. And if all this is not enough - in the video he also shows his followers the state of the room, where the floor is filthy and even a slightly strange window in the bathroom.

The video shows Simon rubbing his leg in an attempt to "dig" through a thick layer of dust found on the red carpet in the room. Or maybe it's a dusty parquet floor? In any case, from the dust it is difficult to distinguish. As he films what his eyes see, he is heard saying: "This floor hasn't been vacuumed since this place opened."
Simon, who shares his travels and experiences around the world with his 765,<> followers, turns to his friend and asks him: "What do you think of the room in this hotel?" to which the friend sarcastically replies: "Outstanding."

Then comes the real bust - Simon opens the refrigerator door and viewers discover completely empty shelves, except for that suspicious block of cheese. "I guess this room comes with free cheese," the friend tells him. Simon then moves into the bathroom and shows an element that looks like a vent next to the shower. But it soon turns out that it's actually a window. "I just have a window in the bathroom," he continues in his cynical tone.

"These guys found the cheapest hotel in Cyprus"

And as happens with any video of this kind, hundreds of comments began pouring in from users. Many of them claimed that Simon and his friend probably chose to stay in a very basic hostel or motel. "Cyprus offers amazing and luxury four- and five-star hotels," one commenter defended the small island nation. "It's definitely not one of them, it's probably a random motel somewhere." Another commenter wrote, "These guys found the cheapest hotel in Cyprus - I've been to a lot of hotels in Cyprus and they were all super clean." A third commenter commented: "I live in Cyprus and to be honest I have never seen hotels like this."

On the other hand, there were also quite a few who identified with Simon. "In Cyprus I was in a three-star hotel where I slept on a bed like a prison," wrote one commenter on the video.

By the way, if you thought that this case was exaggerated, it is recommended to watch a video taken by another tourist, a Canadian comedian named Nima Naz. In the video, he shows his hotel room and faces one of its windows, which is covered with a thick curtain. When he pulls back the curtain to the side, the dressing room of the women who visit the hotel's swimming pool is surprisingly revealed. "I have to close the curtain immediately, so they don't accuse me of voyeurism," he tells the camera.
