Segre: a lot to do, hatred starts in kindergartens"There is a lot of work to be done always, because incitement to hatred is something we see at such low levels, even in kindergartens
". These are the words released by the senator for life Liliana Segre to the Senate TV immediately after her unanimous election as president of the extraordinary commission for the fight against the phenomena of intolerance, racism, anti-Semitism and incitement to hatred and violence. "I am sure - she added - that the elected people like me and all the hearings that will come will certainly not solve the problems but of great help to the difficulties that we all face every day". Segre then speaks of the result of unanimity for his presidency "moved me, because there has not always been unanimity in the past of this commission. It is a committee that I care a great deal about, especially when it comes to intolerance and incitement to hatred. Starting these works and starting the hearings of specialists in these topics gives me great pleasure, it seems to me an important thing that I have promoted and planned". Finally, Senator Segre intervenes on the phenomenon of social media "It took me by surprise, because I am not connected to any of this, but then I get great manifestations of love and even hate via social media".
