One day less! The metropolis of Lyon will grant nearly 5,500 agents the opportunity to work four days a week, without reducing "the amount of work" and "the number of hours worked" in accordance with the legislation. The experiment "will be proposed on a voluntary basis from September 1, 2023," explains Zémorda KHELIFI, deputy vice-president for human resources of the metropolis, in a press release published Tuesday.

The press release indicates that "a first assessment will be carried out after 6 months thanks to many evaluation criteria of the system such as, for example, the distribution of experimental agents (men and women, evolution of part-time to full-time, perception of the contributions of the different scenarios, evolution of team schedules, impact on teleworking, impact on absenteeism or workload ...)".
