Finally, there is the sequel to the novel with the correctional officer Maria Saletti. Esposito reminds Saletti of the unsolved murder of her cousin Anna. In prospect of delivering the culprit for a favor, Saletti Esposito promises to procure it and Esposito then travels illegally to Naples. But before she knows it, the Camorra is already on her trail.
Two men are shot dead on the street in Darmstadt. Camorra boss Esposito is taken to the prison as a key witness for the prosecution. He wants to testify extensively when he knows his wife and children are safe.

The writing style of the crime novel is easy, pictorial and fluent to read. The protagonists fit perfectly into the story and add to the atmosphere. The arc of suspense is well designed and ensures that readers always remain attentive. Like Volume 1 "Behind Hessian Bars" before it, Volume 2 is also very well done by the author.
