For its first edition, the Flammes ceremony, which awards prizes to artists who nourish "French-speaking popular cultures", brought together more than 2000,<> people at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. Discover the five highlights of this ceremony, which rewarded Gazo and Aya Nakamura as artists of the year.

1. Gazo, Male Artist of the Year

Nominated several times, Gazo has won two of the most prestigious trophies, Male Artist of the Year, and Spotify Album of the Year with "KMT."

At the beginning of the evening, the comedian Fary who opened the ceremony had tackled Gazo who "even orally must make erases".

2. Aya Nakamura crowned... in his absence

"The best-selling francophone singer who does not write in French," according to Fary, received the Flame for female artist of the year. The young woman made a brief appearance in the middle of the evening in the press room but did not go on stage to get her prize.
