(ANSA) - ROME, 13 MAY - The Department of Civil Protection has issued a new red alert warning on Emilia-Romagna from the early hours of tomorrow for the risk of rain and thunderstorms. A large depressionary area with a center of action positioned between France and Sardinia, in fact, characterizes the conditions on the Mediterranean area, triggering a flow of warm-humid south-western currents rising from North Africa towards the Balkans, causing a first worsening of weather conditions on part of Italy. The phenomena will be accompanied by heavy showers, frequent electrical activity, possible hailstorms and strong gusts of wind. A yellow alert was also assessed in Veneto, Lombardy, Lazio, Abruzzo, Campania, Molise and the entire territory of Umbria. (ANSA).
