If, thanks to Eurovision, France 2 wins the match of the audiences, the final score is not exceptional. A bit like the performance of La Zarra, the Quebecer who represented the France and came 16th out of 26. Saturday night, they were 3.5 million fans on average in front of their small screen to listen to "Obviously", or 25.6% audience share (PDA), according to Médiamétrie. We are very far from the 5.5 million who had listened to the French candidate Barbara Pravi sing "Here" in May 2021.
Fortunately for the public service, "Cassandra", the police series carried by Gwendoline Hamon on France 3, is a hit once again. With the episode "Le Secret d'Angèle", it gathered 3.4 million viewers (17.6% PDA), ahead of "The Voice", on TF1, which continues to progress with 3.15 million fans of song (16.4% PDA). The TV hook of the One, presented by Nikos Aliagas, does better than the previous show, which had attracted 3.06 million viewers.
Then there is an unmissable Saturday evening program, "Échappées Belles". With 938,000 followers (4.9% PDA), the France 5 magazine arrives at the foot of the podium of audiences. It is ahead of the documentary "The Mongolian Empire: Another Story" (670,000 viewers and 3.5% PDA), broadcast on Arte, and the timeless police series "Columbo", on TMC, seen by 636,000 budding investigators (3.4% PDA).
