While many stars dripped all-over pearls on the Met Gala red carpet, Cardi B chose to concentrate on one statement piece — bombastic earrings custom-designed by Laurel DeWitt that featured a diamond-studded shell-like element centered on a giant pearl. For King Charles III's coronation, Kate Middleton wore drop earrings (inherited from the late Princess Diana) that began with a diamond-laden leaf motif from which a pearl dropped, while Katy Perry posed in Vivienne Westwood's choker and whoops, stole the show.
