In the video: Artificial intelligence reaches general (Editing by Gilad Manheim)
Artificial intelligence is becoming an inseparable part of our lives and revolutionizing many fields and industries. With the advancement of technology, the world of AI is advancing rapidly and contributing to quite a few fields, including medicine. Clalit is among the first healthcare organizations in the world to begin integrating artificial intelligence tools into medical information systems, using an innovative, self-developed platform called C-Pi - or Clalit Proactive-Preventive interventions.
The platform, developed over two and a half years by Clalit's medical, information systems, digital and innovation teams, will change family medicine services as we know them today and bring significant news to the world of medicine - the transition from reactive medicine to predictive, proactive and preventive medicine.
C-Pi helps prevent diseases prior to their outbreak and provides treatment and disease prevention recommendations tailored to Clalit's customer data and the latest professional literature in the field. How? The system cross-references all existing medical information about a particular client against the most up-to-date information from the medical literature and provides the medical staff with recommendations regarding the required tests and recommended treatments for him. It is designed to be able to analyze vast amounts of customer personal information and medical history against the most up-to-date clinical guidelines and clinical information available. The system weighs all the data and makes it immediately accessible to the attending physician. The combination of the most up-to-date treatment and follow-up guidelines in the medical world with personal medical data of each and every client enables Clalit physicians to provide personalized and proactive treatment.
