Winona Forever, Tel Aviv (Yaniv Granot)
All the openings (and closings also, I wish we didn't have to), new menus and limited edition dishes, festivals and holidays, special meals and once-a-year events (we wanted to write New Year's Eve, but we realized a long time ago that almost every two weeks there is some kind of "The... International", and in our places that's reason enough for event).
A chef who is a guest and a chef who also hosts, a restaurant that dresses up and a team that changes places, why not, actually. A dish that gets its own roof (and walls), but also a "hole in the wall" is worth enough for us to report. Eilat and Haifa, the Sharon and the Shefela, and Tel Aviv (but by no means only it).
In short, get Israel's food news. And this time - early weeks celebrations, great baking secrets that are revealed and a lot of pouring and mixing. And that's just the first course.
Enjoy!
Tel Aviv Cocktail Week
Tel Aviv Cocktail Week (Photo: DrinkTLV)
One of the happiest events on the Tel Aviv calendar returns for the fifth time, with dozens of bars behind it, pop-ups, workshops, lectures, sunset parties and a particularly intriguing Italian guest appearance.
The festival, which will pour itself until Saturday night (May 20), offers a digital card with which you arrive at bars, with which you purchase a "flagship cocktail" for 30 shekels. Apart from this deal, there will also be a collaboration with Florence Cocktail Week, a Cognac Martel pop-up at Butler, a modern cocktail workshop with Gippard, a brunch celebration, a skipping and tasting evening at three different bars and many more mixes, pours and smiles.
