(ANSA) - PALERMO, 18 MAY - A 14-year-old boy was stabbed this afternoon in Via del Vespro by an 11-year-old schoolmate. It is unclear whether the attack took place inside or near the Quasimodo Institute. The boy arrived at the emergency room of the Civic Hospital accompanied by his grandfather and some relatives in the afternoon with several cut wounds to his hands, arms and chest. One of the blows punctured his lung.
The team of the head physician of the Massimo Geraci hospital stabilized him and now the 14-year-old is hospitalized in a critical area but not in danger of life. Law enforcement is trying to reconstruct what happened. The case is dealt with by the Public Prosecutor's Office of minors of Palermo. (ANSA).
