The parks of the state of Florida, United States, are always expanding and promise novelties. This time, Universal Orlando Resort announced the details of Minion Land, a new themed area that will open in the coming months at Universal Studios Florida and will invite visitors to enter the world of successful animated films.
Located on Illumination Ave., it will be an immersive zone created with the joint work of Universal's creative team and the renowned filmmakers of "Illumination."
The venue will grow beyond the now famous Despicable Me MinionMayhem attraction and introduce new experiences for kids and adults, all inspired by the friendly and fun Minions.

In addition to a marquee with 22 Minions as a welcome to the antics and new attractions, you can savor the dishes of Minion Cafe, eat popcorn with banana flavor in Pop-a-Nana and meet the favorite characters of the fans of the universe that was born with the saga of "Despicable Me".
An interactive game
Guests will test their villain-like skills in "Illumination's Villain-Con Minion Blast," a new attraction where they will compete in an interactive and fun-rich gaming experience.
Then they will come out through "Evil Stuff", a merchandising store in which there will be products from Villain-Con and Minions.

Minion Cafe
With the opening of "Illumination's Minion Cafe" it is expected to be the main place to eat within Minion Land.
It will be a new restaurant with an entertaining dining experience with three themed areas. In the kitchen diners will be able to see the equipment that the Minions have; in the break room there will even be a vending machine for fun items for mischief; and in the dining room you can dine among colorful works of art courtesy of the Minions.
Meals can also be enjoyed on an outdoor patio overlooking Minion Land.
In keeping with the personality of the Minions, the menu will also be special.
Diners will find innovative proposals 20 items inspired by memorable characters and staples of the Minions franchise, including "despica-bowls" such as Otto's Noodle Bowl, Agnes's Honeymoon Soup and Carl's Crispy Coliflower (vegan offer).
There will also be snacks like the Steak & "Cheese Ray" Sandwich, desserts like Bob's Teddy Bear Chocolate Cream Puff and a kids' menu for the family's "mini Minions" that includes the Mini Boss' Mega Melt, among other things.

Pink sweets
Bake My Day will feature a huge pink cupcake atop that can be seen from anywhere in the Minion Land area.
It will be a shop and bakery offering a selection of Minions-themed sweet treats, including cupcakes, macarons, s'mores and more, along with merchandising such as clothing, stuffed animals, glasses, accessories and key chains.
Not to be missed: popcorn with banana taste. At Pop-A-Nana, visitors will be able to purchase buckets of sweet and savory "popcorn," most notably the Minion Selfie bucket.
For ice cream lovers, Freeze Ray Pops will offer a variety of colorful palettes inspired by Gru and the Minions, along with drinks.

The Illumination Theatre
Guests will be able to meet, greet and interact with beloved characters such as the Minions, Gru, Margo, Edith and Agnes, as well as new additions from the hit film "Sing" (Rosita, Gunter and Johnny) on an outdoor façade of the Illumination Theatre.
