Authorities at Ezeiza International Airport evacuated a plane, which had not yet taken off, on Sunday due to a bomb threat.
As reported byErolíneas Argentinas, it was the flight "AR1304 Ezeiza -Miami", which carried 270 passengers and 12 crew and was scheduled to leave at 7.35, when the "ground staff of the company receives on their phone a threat associated with the aforementioned flight".
Faced with this situation, the Airport Security Police activated the security protocols and both passengers and company personnel were disembarked and the plane moved to the security position for inspection.
The PSA reported that the anti-bomb operation is in full swing by specialized personnel.
"Once the controls are completed, the results and the new flight schedule will be reported," the company said.
Bomb threats in schools
During the last few days, there were a series of bomb threats in 20 different schools in the City and Province of Buenos Aires, by a minor.
The team of the Specialized Fiscal Unit in Cybercrime Investigations (Ufeic) of San Isidro led a raid, where they found three weapons, which are added to seven others that had been kidnapped in March at that home of Martínez. The same boy had threatened to bomb his then school, the exclusive Riversdale School in Acasusso.
"We're talking about guns that aren't, let's say, common, from someone who just likes guns. There is a specific revolver used by the NYPD (38 Smith and Wesson). Also a weapon of the U.S. military. A Garand 7.65. One of war. Also now a bow and arrow was found. And not a toy," emerged as a detail of the investigation.
