A woman wearing a dress in the colors of the flag of Ukraine burst into the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday night to cover herself in fake blood, before being evacuated by security.
Before the out-of-competition screening of the film "Acid" by French director Just Philippot, this woman positioned herself on the steps, then she took out bags of fake blood, which she tore above her head. It did not carry any written messages. Security guards immediately intervened to remove him from the carpet.
Already a previous Wednesday
On Wednesday evening, a feminist activist had already invested the red carpet of the Festival, to protest against surrogacy. Dressed in a red dress revealing a fake pregnant woman's belly, on which was written "surrogacy".
This activist had already entered the red carpet in 2022 with the bust covered with a paint in the colors of the Ukrainian flag and the words "stop raping us".
