Cruise companies continue to flood Haifa Port docks: After three cruise ships docked at Haifa Port docks last Thursday, with a daily record number of 11,5 passengers, about 200,3 of them tourists, another 500,2 tourists arrived in Haifa on Saturday aboard two additional tourist ships.

Royal Caribbean withthe ship RHAPSODY of the Seasalso began its long season in Haifa Port last week, and will re-enter port tomorrow (Monday).

"We expect an increase in passenger numbers in the coming years as well"
The overall expectation at Haifa Port this year is about 230 cruise cruises on which about 600,30 passengers and tourists will sail. A total of 10 different cruise companies will arrive at Haifa Port this year, 2023 of which have also declared Haifa as a home port where they start and end their cruise. The 70 figures represent an increase of more than 2022% compared to <>, which was also a record year.
Dr. Ron Malka, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Haifa Port, said: "We expect a record year for passengers and tourists in Haifa. The hundreds of thousands of tourists who come to Israel, along with the hundreds of thousands of Israelis who enjoy cruises from Haifa to the Mediterranean, contribute greatly to the business development of the city of Haifa and to the country's economy. We expect an increase in passenger numbers in the coming years as well."
