Lahnstein – In the Facebook group "Where can you find good trucks (Leberkäsweckle/-brötchen) in Germany" there is always a lot going on. Their purpose is for fans to show and rate photos of their meat loaf rolls (which of course have different regional names), whereupon other gourmets comment on them. The reactions are not always positive – a Rewe customer was once horrified, and even with a scandalous meat loaf roll, some lost their appetite.

Now a very special piece is attracting attention and comments again. The buyer is probably as tight-lipped as he is wide-mouthed. Because his extra-large specimen truly needs a wide open mouth - but at the same time he finds very little to say. "Globus Lahnstein" is all he writes about the photo. Maybe you're just at a loss for words? And the meat loaf roll speaks for itself?

Others are much more talkative: Dozens of comments are collected by the snack bar with the XXXXXXXXXL topping, which apparently consists of pizza liver cheese. Even true fans are extremely impressed by the meal that one of them was handed out at the supermarket chain Globus in Lahnstein (Rhineland-Palatinate). "Truck with trailer", "Finally an adult-sized truck", "Clean truck. The proportions are right", "Awesome part" and "Juicy brake pad!", they enthuse.

Some meat loaf fans think: Too little topping is nothing at all - and there can never be enough of it. But with this bun it is too much for some. "Bit exaggerated?" says one. "Bissl is good. I don't want the copy as a gift" another. Another says: "No offense, but there is so much wrong with this piece. I really like it meaty. But this is just perverse, and not nice to eat. Apart from that, the bread roll looks like an airy, cheap nothing from the bakery. A good filler, but not a candidate for the podium." Skepticism is also expressed in our editorial team. "At the sight of it, my jaw hurts suddenly," wrote a colleague.
A Facebook user was not distracted by the rich coating, but looked very closely. He made a terrible discovery for him: Is that ketchup between rolls and meat loaf? This is frowned upon by many eaters and always causes heated discussions. Only eight percent in our voting above (as of 20.5., 9.30 a.m.) prefer ketchup on the meat loaf roll. For many, it is rather a serious transgression. "Is there also forbidden red sauce to be seen there or am I mistaken?", writes one of them about the Globus copy. Well, if you like it, you can eat it.
