This is a first for a French song. The clip "Last Dance" of Indila, released at the end of 2013, has just exceeded one billion views on YouTube, setting a record for the francophone song, says the site Pop Crave. A performance in the image of the success of the artist, Adila Sedraïa of her real name, at the time of its release.
"Last dance" had already exploded the counters the months following the revelation of the clip. Indila's first and only album "Mini World", from which the title is derived, had risen to the top of French sales in the first week. It had made a hit, in France but also abroad, indicated in 2014 NJR. It had also earned him a Victoire for the revelation album of the year in 2015.
A duet with Amir
After a European tour and thousands of albums sold, Indila, also known for "Turning in the void", had withdrawn from the media scene in 2015 to devote herself to a second album. In the end, it never saw the light of day.
