Being a parent isn't easy, and it turns out that even if you have a whole team of arts, breweries, security guards, and plenty of family around you, it doesn't make it any easier. Because at the end of the day, even if your name isKim Kardashianand you own an empire worth millions, you're not immune to your 4-year-old's crazy tannerum attack.
The star was interviewed onJay Shetty's"On Purpose" podcast and candidly shared about the gap between how she thought it would be and real life, and the difficulties of being a mother: "Some days I cry until I fall asleep. It's like there's a tornado in my house." Kardashian spoke about their daily routine, revealing that just like every parent in the world, she also deals with difficult mornings: "I have to do a hairstyle for my daughter and it has to be perfect and in a certain way, and then another kid needs me to put his shoes on and everyone needs you, it's crazy, the cooking, the running around, it's crazy."
Kim is the mother of four children, North(9), Saint(7), Chicago(5) andSalem (4), whom she brought into the world with her divorcee, rapperKanye West. After the two divorced, and although the custody agreement is supposed to be split equally, an associate of the reality star said that this is not the case, and the children are with her 80% of the time. She shared this during the podcast, saying: "With all the different moods, and personalities, they are sometimes many and there is no one there. It's just me playing the good cop and the bad cop."

"It's the most rewarding job in the whole world. There is nothing that can prepare you for this. No matter how much you've waited, no matter how much you wait, you're never ready for it. But eventually you'll figure it out, and it's going to make you so proud of yourself that you figured it out and got through the day," the star shared, adding, "Motherhood guilt is probably the hardest thing. Am I a good mother? Kids just want time with you, they just want time."
Kim and Kanye began dating in 2012 and married at a glamorous event in Italy two years later. Over the years, they knew a lot about him and the downs that followed, in part, to West's mental state dealing with bipolar disorder. In February 2021, they announced their intention to divorce after the couples therapy they tried was unsuccessful, and in November 2022, they finally signed the divorce agreement.
