Staying healthy and looking young for as long as possible – the dream of many. Some are very intensively involved with the topic and invest huge sums of money. One of them is biotech entrepreneur Bryan Johnson.
Bryan Johnson is an entrepreneur and 45 years old. At least that's what his ID says. But according to his own statements, his biological age is much lower, by a full eight years. Johnson invests around 1.8 million euros annually for this, as reported by the US news channel Bloomberg. "My rate of aging is slower than that of 88 percent of 18-year-olds," Johnson writes on his Instagram channel.
To do this, he resorts to simple measures such as a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. But costly applications are also part of his anti-aging program.

Examinations, blood tests and dietary supplements: As Bryan Johnson explains in an interview with the Business Insider portal, his anti-aging measures cost him almost two million US dollars a year. However, the effects are immense. Johnson claims that his heart is that of a 37-year-old and that other organs are even younger. Business Insider also quotes Johnson, who says he has the skin of a 28-year-old and the lung capacity of an 18-year-old.
In order to keep his cells so young, the American entrepreneur eats a vegan diet and exercises every day. In addition, Johnson gets up at five o'clock every day. He recommends jumping out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off. "I'm not waiting, I'm not hitting the snooze button, I'm not trying to lie down for another ten minutes, I'm just jumping out of bed," Johnson said on his Instagram channel. After that, he exposes himself to his sunlight lamp in the bathroom and swallows two dozen medications and supplements.
Monthly check-up at the doctor's office
Despite a meat-free diet, biotech entrepreneur Johnson is careful not to consume too few calories. He eats exactly 1,977 calories a day. In addition, the monthly check-up at the doctor is one of his rejuvenating routines. Not only the blood is examined, but also the intestine as part of a colonoscopy.
