A couple of parents "received" a flood of angry comments online after posting a video of them allowing their toddler daughter to run amok around the passenger plane during an eight-hour flight.

The video was posted on the social forum network Reddit and for nine seconds shows the girl standing on the food tray of the seat on the plane. At one point, she screams and starts bouncing up and down on the fragile tray of food. As a result, the seat of the passenger sitting in front of her begins to shake and it seems that the tray of food is about to collapse at any moment as a result of her rampage. The man himself tries to ignore the interruption, and the girl even continues her actions, clutching his headrest with both hands. The video ends with the little girl turning around and addressing a woman, presumably her mother.

Thousands of angry comments

The Daily Mail reports that the passenger who filmed the video says that the girl behaved in this manner during the entire long flight, which is why he filmed this scene, which is only an example of what happened.

Will you pay extra for a "child-free flight"?

The video was uploaded to the social network, under the title "Let the children run wild during an eight-hour flight." As expected, the post drew thousands of comments, most of which were outraged. Most commenters were shocked by the fact that the toddler's parents let her behave this way on the flight. "If my kids behaved like this, I would feel like I've failed in my role as a parent," wrote one commenter, while another added: "My child may be a 'tornado,' but there's no way I would allow her to behave like this in public, let alone on a flight." "It's just bad parenting," another commenter concluded. Another commenter commented, "Only idiot parents could say something like, 'This is just a little girl acting like a little girl, so calm down.'"

"It's not just rudeness - it's dangerous"

Quite a few commenters wondered about the indifference displayed by the passenger sitting in front of the girl, the one whose seat moved repeatedly because of her rampage. Some thought that because of this, there was a chance that he might be her father. "I'm not one of those people who gets up and confronts other people, but in that case, I definitely would," one commenter commented, while another added: "Why is this guy just letting this keep happening?" Another commenter explained the passenger's lack of response by saying, "If there are parents who can let their child run wild like this, there's no way they're the kind of people who would even listen to other passengers' comments." Another wrote: "Her parents are stupid. It's not just rudeness – it's a real danger." And another commenter wrote what many might be thinking in their hearts: "Airlines really should offer flights with child-free zones."
