Several drone strikes targeted homes and an administrative building in Russia's Belgorod region on Monday night, following an incursion by armed fighters from Ukraine, the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said on Telegram, specifying that the attacks did not cause injuries or casualties.
The anti-terrorist operation in the Russian region of Belgorod near the border with Ukraine "continues", the governor of the region announced. "Sweeping checks by the Ministry of Defense and law enforcement agencies are continuing" in the Grayvoron district of the Belgorod region, Gladkov wrote on Telegram. "Law enforcement is doing whatever it takes," he stressed.
Gladkov also urged Grayvoron residents not to return to their homes: "It is not yet time to work," he wrote, adding that there were no civilian casualties in yesterday's fighting. "To date, there are no civilian deaths. All necessary actions by law enforcement agencies are ongoing. We are awaiting the completion of the anti-terrorist operation announced yesterday," he said in an update on the situation on his Telegram channel.
