The Tunisian information agency TAP and ANSA have signed a collaboration agreement that provides for the possibility for partners to use their respective information services for editorial use and to develop joint commercial offers to support the communication of institutions and companies in their respective countries.
The agreement was signed in Tunis, at the headquarters of TAP, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador in Tunis Fabrizio Saggio, who said: "Today's agreement between the two main national press agencies, ANSA and TAP, further enriches the existing cooperation, at 360 degrees, between Italy and Tunisia".
The President and Director General of TAP, Najeh Missaoui, expressed satisfaction with the agreement reached: "We are pleased to have signed today a new collaboration agreement with ANSA, with which we maintain historical relations. This agreement will allow us to continue and strengthen the ties of collaboration and friendship between the two parties and to exchange experiences and expertise in the field of news agencies, which is experiencing a very rapid development in light of technological progress, which profoundly affects the practice of modern journalism".
ANSA CEO Stefano De Alessandri thanked Ambassador Saggio for the concrete support given to the achievement of this agreement and underlined that "the collaboration with TAP is long-standing and the agreement signed today is therefore the confirmation and renewal of a historic partnership for ANSA. This agreement - in addition to the availability of editorial content - offers important ideas and opportunities for collaboration on other fronts, such as the availability of journalistic and technological know-how in the editorial field".
