A "leaf to leaf" that roots Hugo
It remains to decide between the trio Sarika-Hugo-Danny. For this final confrontation, Stéphanie Le Quellec, superchampion of "Top Chef" in 2011 and now two-starred, accompanied by her pastry chef, asks for a gastronomic "leaf leaf", with a succession of layers. Again, Danny dares: "I'm going to make dessert. I never did one before coming... But you have to take risks. From the beginning, I have been a man of the shadows. I want to be in the light. ", he says in front of his basil pastry cream.
In front of him, exhausted nervously, the winner of "Objectif Top chef", is on the verge of "cracking". "I have a phew pressure," she whispers. At the time of the tasting, no one leads very wide... With an essentially vegetable dish, it is finally Hugo who wins, with, as a bonus, a nice compliment from the former candidate: "It's been a long time since I tasted a dish of this level in the quarter-finals," she judges.
