Funeral of Karin Bauman (Nir Pekin)
Karin Bauman, who passed away yesterday (Tuesday) after a decade of battling anorexia, is being laid to rest at Yarkon Cemetery in Petah Tikva.
Bauman left behind her mother, Yehudit Bauman and her husband Shimi Tavori, and five brothers and sisters: Orly, Renee, Anna, Steve, and Natalie.
On Wednesday morning, Shimi Tavori, Yehudit's spouse, addressed the media and the public and asked to let her mourn quietly: "I ask not to talk to Yehudit other than to comfort her calmly, she is currently suffering from pressure in her heart and she is in a difficult situation and the whole world is about her, thousands of messages every moment from anywhere around the country, non-stop phone calls, she is not recovering. I understand that the country is noisy to its death, but leave it to the Jews."
