Karin Bowmanpassed away Tuesday after a decade of battling anorexia. Shimi Tavori,Yehudit Bauman's husband, made an emotional appeal to the public to let the mother mourn the quiet of her daughter's death.
"I ask you not to talk to Yehudit other than to comfort her calmly, she is currently suffering from pressure in her heart and she is in a difficult situation and the whole world is about her, thousands of messages every moment from everywhere around the country, phone calls non-stop, she is not recovering. I understand that the country is noisy to its death, but let Yehudit mourn quietly," TMI first reported.
The couple accompanied Karin in her struggle and did not give up until the last moment. In December 2021, Yehudit asked for donations to pay for her daughter's care: "I assume that she can be saved and she must be saved. I know she wants to give up and doesn't want to cooperate."
