After Galit Gutman last week accused all haredim and called them "bloodsuckers," comes an apology. The TV presenter apologized Thursday morning live on the Galit and Yoav program, after many complaints were filed against her with the Second Authority, and Gutman even had a hearing in which she was asked to apologize.
"I sincerely apologize for my style and the words I used. I spoke from the blood of my heart about the future of the country," Gutman said on the morning show.
Gutman also said of the apology: "I was talking about the politicians and not about an entire sector. It didn't occur to me to blame an entire sector. The saddest thing for me is that the country is boiling anyway, and we live in a country within a country, I was the one who had the match in her hand and I apologize again that people were hurt by me. It comes from a great love for the country and there is something to work on the style."
