On the other side of the transalpine border, the international elite has been rushing for more than a week. A handful, just as impressive, moved away from the outpourings of rhinestones and glitter of the Cannes Film Festival, to attend the enchanted parenthesis offered by Louis Vuitton. The Parisian label has capitalized on the idyllic setting of the Borromean Islands to unveil its Cruise 2024 collection. Many celebrities were present. Including those who were seen a few days earlier on the steps of the Palais des Festivals, like Alicia Vikander, Cate Blanchett or Catherine Deneuve.

Distinguished guests
Surprise guest, the pouring rain forced the assembly to retreat to the 17th century baroque palace of the Borromeo family to avoid the flood. A luxurious consolation prize for guests from afar, such as legendary American presenter Oprah Winfrey. The icing on the cake, Pharrell Williams, the new artistic director of Louis Vuitton's men's collections, also made his debut on the island of Lake Maggiore. The designer will unveil his first show on June 20 at Paris Fashion Week.
