(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 25 - Green light from the Rai Board of Directors to the package of appointments to heads and genres proposed by the CEO Roberto Sergio, including those of Gian Marco Chiocci at Tg1 and Antonio Preziosi at Tg2, passed with the contrary vote of the president Marinella Soldi, of the Pd councilor Francesca Bria and of the councilor elected by the employees Riccardo Laganà. Alessandro Di Majo, on the other hand, abstained at M5S altitude. Three votes in favor, sufficient for the green light: those of the CEO and the two majority directors, Simona Agnes and Igor De Biasio.
Chiocci will therefore be the new director of Tg1; to Tg2 vaAntonio Preziosi, who leaves Rai Parliament, where Giuseppe Carboni takes office; Francesco Pionati arrives at the helm of the Radio and Radio1 newspaper, while Jacopo Volpi becomes director of Raisport and its Genre. For genres Stefano Coletta leaves Prime Time Entertainment to Marcello Ciannamea and takes the place of Distribution. Angelo Mellone will direct the Daytime Entertainment, Paolo Corsini the In-depth analysis; Adriano De Maio will lead Cinema and TV series, Maurizio Imbriale will direct Digital Content. For radio channels, Simona Sala heads Radio2 and Marco Lanzarone assumes responsibility for the new Directorate of specialized digital radios and podcasts.
Finally, Monica Maggioni takes over as Editorial Director for the Information Offer.
During the meeting, the Board also resolved to renew the Board of Directors of the subsidiaries, whose corporate bodies were about to expire: Paolo DelBrocco was confirmed as Chief Executive Officer and Nicola Claudio as Chairman at Rai Cinema; Sergio Santo is appointed CEO of Rai Com, while Claudia Mazzola takes office as chairman.
Andrea Vianello is appointed general manager of San MarinoRtv. (ANSA).
