Once upon a time... in Cannes. On the Croisette, Leonardo DiCaprio is king, or almost. True to his reputation as a party animal and seducer, the actor of The Great Gatsby skims the evenings more or less discreetly, like Francis Scott Fitzgerald's hero.
Sunday: Carlton and Martinez
He was first seen this Sunday, May 21 at the Carlton Hotel, on the occasion of the Better World Fund for Climate Gala. In a khaki jacket and gummy hair, the 48-year-old American seemed to have recovered from his emotions of the day before, namely a particularly acclaimed climb of the stairs alongside Robert De Niro, and a standing ovation after the screening of Killers Of The Flower Moon, Martin Scorsese's latest feature film.
Leonardo DiCaprio was also spotted, that same Sunday, leaving the mythical Martinez Hotel covered in a black mask and hidden under a baseball cap. In the hope of leaving incognito of another evening, so (the photo below shows that the strategy did not really pay off).

The party he had just left was organized by Vogue and Chopard among selected VIP guests, including British model Neelam Gill, 28, and Indian businesswoman Natasha Poonawalla, 41.
Before or after, the actor went to the Women in Motion dinner organized by Kering in honor of women in cinema, on the heights of Cannes. During this event, which rewarded actress Michelle Yeoh, he was seen in conversation with Thierry Frémaux and Iris Knobloch, respectively General Delegate and President of the Cannes Film Festival, his table neighbors. After which, he walked to the back balcony of the party where he hugged Salma Hayek, who was sitting on a step smoking a cigarette. Before leaving, shortly before one o'clock in the morning.
Monday: yacht and buddy
Monday, May 22, change of scenery. The paparazzi tracked down Leonardo DiCaprio aboard a luxurious yacht. That of Australian billionaire James Packer. It is here that he remains the time of the Fortnight, obviously, and that he found one of his BFFs: Tobey Maguire, the iconic interpreter of the Spider-Man saga. The two long-time friends were photographed smiling, in full conservation.

Tuesday: heading for Antibes
Then, on Tuesday, May 23, "Leo" was seen again. This time, in the company of his dear friend Martin Scorsese. The director and his muse were on their thirty-one to attend the sumptuous Air Mail Party, in the hotel of Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes. One more evening in Mr. DiCaprio's diary... Waiting for the amfAR, where he will probably be, this Thursday evening.
