Losing weight without exercise and changing your diet: This is supposed to work with one method. But does the trick deliver what it promises?
Kassel – The weight loss fever has infected many again. Looking in the mirror becomes more critical, and going to the scales is often associated with frustration. But losing weight sustainably is something many associate with tedious diets and a lot of exercise.
Researchers are of the opinion that this does not necessarily have to be the case. In addition to a simple home remedy to help you lose weight, there are other options. For example, the so-called Japan method, which is behind it:

Rather, he claimed to have lost a lot of weight through a special method. He is said to have lost a total of 13 kilograms within 50 days. Behind this is the "Long-breath" or Japan method.
There are two ways to use the weight loss method:

- Stand up straight and go into a lunge
- Keep the hips straight and shift all the weight of the body to the hind leg
- Inhale slowly for about 3 seconds and put your hands above your head
- After that, by tensing all the muscles of the body, exhale vigorously for seven seconds
- Second option
- Stand up straight and tighten your muscles, especially your thighs.
- Place one hand on her stomach, the other on her lower back
- Soak in for 3 seconds, pulling in the abdomen
- Exhale for 7 seconds, if possible pull in a little further

"Although it's not a substitute for exercise, it's a great first step for women who are just starting out with an exercise plan, and deep breathing amplifies the benefits of any form of exercise," Marcelle Pick, a trained nurse, told Medicaldaily. Deep breathing exercises have increased oxygen supply to the body, which absorbs nutrients and helps the body get rid of toxins, leading to weight loss.

But not all experts consider the weight loss method to be promising. Richard Godfrey, chief physiologist at the British Olympic Medical Centre, expressed considerable doubts to the Daily Mail. Only intensive training can ensure effective fat burning. "Deep breathing and gentle exercise for 15 minutes a day will not burn enough calories to change body shape," he points out. If you exaggerate the exercises in the Japan weight loss method, this can even have negative consequences, Professor Ian Macdonald told the newspaper.
