Highlights: "I am not ashamed of my body. I am proud to be a woman," says the mother of two. "I am proud of the way I look," she adds, "and I want to keep it that way. I don't want to change anything about my body or how I look. I just want to be happy with the way my body looks" "I'm not ashamed to be me," she says, "I want to continue to be the same person I am. I'm not afraid to be who I am."

Jealous of the perfect photos of your friends on Instagram? If she photographed herself from two different angles in order to prove that her very flattering picture really does not represent reality

Sometimes it's not enough just to know – you also have to see. After all, it is known that the photos we see on Instagram and other social networks are retouched, filtered and taken from flattering angles in order to look better, but sometimes it is easy to fall into the trap and envy other people's figures. To prove how extreme the differences are, a young mother, tired of her and other mothers' feelings of inferiority with a "postpartum body," photographed herself from two different angles — to prove that every good-looking person on Instagram has less flattering angles in reality — and that's totally okay.

She took a picture of herself in front of the mirror and showed a very flattering photo of herself - and then photographed her body from above revealing a belly. The mother, who has amassed 2.3 million followers on Instagram, isn't trying to speak out against the phenomenon as much as she is simply trying to encourage people to love themselves regardless of how others look.

She wrote alongside the photos: "Every time I struggle with self-image, I realise that a lot of it is because I always see it in so many different ways. The desire to hide or change clothes is so real and okay when I need to quiet my mind. But other days, like today? I just see it as what it is."

Many of her followers appreciated her truth and empowering message and left supportive comments. "You've made me feel so much more comfortable wearing clothes that show my belly over the last few years because of posts like this - thank you," one wrote, while another added: "This is the stuff every girl should see every day, because what is shown on social media is always just a tiny piece and not always realistic of reality. Thank you!!". Another wrote: "In the past when I photographed myself from this angle I was left terrified, but now that I see that I am not alone, it makes me feel so much better."
