From 7 June, adjustments will come into force with regard to the rights of passengers in rail transport. There are cases where there is no entitlement to compensation. These include exceptional situations that are beyond the control of the railway company, such as extreme weather conditions, people on the rails or cable theft. Deutsche Bahn (DB), as a leader in the sector, has announced that most of its passengers will not be affected by the changes.
