With a large photo ''of all those who work here'' Fabio Fazio makes his farewell greeting and thanks in the last episode of Che tempo che fa after the letter to Rai by Luciana Littizzetto and before introducing Marco Mengoni.
''I thank all the colleagues of Rai, L'Officina, the make-up, the wig, everyone. I would also like to say thank you to those who have made themselves heard in these days", says an emotional Fazio who expresses a special thanks "to Rosanna Pastore and Silvia Calandrelli who have sought a solution in recent months until the end, looking for signals from Mars that have not arrived". And he adds: ''Rai is everyone's TV and mine too and I can only love her enormously. These days, exactly 40 years old I was auditioning as an imitator and incredibly they took me".
''At that audition there was Bruno Voglino from whom it all started and I want to address the last thank you to him. I went to be an imitator at Pronto Raffaella the theme song was called Fatalità and I felt there just by fatality. The biggest thanks then I want to address to the public. It has been a wonderful 40 years", concludes Fazio.
