All the openings (and closings also, I wish we didn't have to), new menus and limited edition dishes, festivals and holidays, special meals and once-a-year events (we wanted to write New Year's Eve, but we realized a long time ago that almost every two weeks there is some kind of "The... International", and in our places that's reason enough for event).
A chef who is a guest and a chef who also hosts, a restaurant that dresses up and a team that changes places, why not, actually. A dish that gets its own roof (and walls), but also a "hole in the wall" is worth enough for us to report. Eilat and Haifa, the Sharon and the Shefela, and Tel Aviv (but by no means only it).
In short, get Israel's food news. And this time - a lucrative lunch deal, a monstrous wine festival and good news from central Tel Aviv. And that's just the first course.

The veteran food fair in the Tel Aviv mall has responded to the demand (including a fairly explicit demand from Walla! Food) and is fixing its vegan food version on Wednesdays (12:00-20:00).
The fair, in cooperation with Vegan Friendly, offers dishes at a maximum price of NIS 35, including Liron Brenner's Miss V, Manal Ismail's Arabic food, three J-17 stands, Tanat's Ethiopian dishes, Indira's Tali, and Dor Zagori's Parana with cauliflower.

Wine Festival, Mateh Yehuda

Mateh Yehuda's great wine event celebrates 25 years of pouring and smiles, with a series of events, tours and tastings of course.
You will find here, among other things, an unlimited tasting celebration with dozens of wineries in the region (Thursday, June 1), fascinating Friday tutorials, wine launches, parties, swing hits at the Hadar Winery, a morning of white wines or a pink sunset, first editions, scenery and air, a dairy menu at Kerem Barak Winery, meat from the smoker at Tzafririm Winery and an Israeli brunch that is already defined as excessive, and rightly so.

The excellent Tel Aviv restaurant launches a new business meal, in the first form at the main price, and includes home made bread rolls.
You can find here, among other things, lettuce salad with mustard vinaigrette, heavy mousse with applesauce and roasted shushka pepper with fried brinze cheese for starters, and mains such as fish fillet in brown butter sauce (148 shekels), boneless polka (94 shekels), beef cheek (112 shekels) and vegetable pappardelle (92 shekels).

Lotem Deri's tall and wonderful café launches a new and intriguing menu.
You can find here, among other things, scrambled croissants and cheeses, "Shoshana's Cubana", blintzes chard, spinach and cheeses, burrata with roasted tomatoes, "Galilean pappardella", Pizza Bianca with mushrooms and also a masbah with lots of olive oil, lemon and almonds.
