All the openings (and closings also, I wish we didn't have to), new menus and limited edition dishes, festivals and holidays, special meals and once-a-year events (we wanted to write New Year's Eve, but we realized a long time ago that almost every two weeks there is some kind of "The... International", and in our places that's reason enough for event).

A chef who is a guest and a chef who also hosts, a restaurant that dresses up and a team that changes places, why not, actually. A dish that gets its own roof (and walls), but also a "hole in the wall" is worth enough for us to report. Eilat and Haifa, the Sharon and the Shefela, and Tel Aviv (but by no means only it).

Big Mac discount, McDonald's

A combination of happy circumstances – the 30th anniversary of the opening of the first branch in Israel and International Hamburger Day – led McDonald's to a month-long discount.

This is a deal that will take ten shekels off every Big Mac meal (Big Mac, chips and drinks), and will put its price at 29 shekels (instead of 39 shekels) until June 14.

Whopper as a gift, Burger King

The festive day also prompted Burger King to go crazy, offering a sale that would end at midnight.

The deal simply says a woofer as a gift so that ordering a dish will be converted into a double woofer, and a double woofer will magically become a triple woofer.

The American eatery at Ramat Hachayal in Tel Aviv celebrates burgerly corruption with four new meatball versions.

These are "Soprano Smash" (two patties, salt and pepper or with lamb bacon, mac and cheese and green onions), "Escobar Smash" (two patties and a mixture of Mexican hot peppers or with Mexican corn, cheddar cheese and deconstructed meat in a barbecue), "El Capone Smash" (two patties, herbs and Italian cheese or with artichoke a la Romana with truffle cheese and parmesan) and Bugsy Smash (two patties and a mixture of spices or mozzarella schnitzel, Fried onion rings and onion jam) - to be sold as part of a deal that includes extra cheddar cheese on each patty, fries and soft drinks or a third of draft beer, at a price of NIS 85-89.

Ido Elkayam's intelligence restaurant leverages the date into an evening full of hamburger(s).

The closed menu will bring three burgers to the table - classic, truffle burger and smoked burger, as well as classic fries and potatos, toppings such as onion jam or stir-fried mushrooms, special sauces in the form of honey aioli and chimichurri, foie gras and deconstructed meat upgrades, vegan options and unlimited draft beer. Price: 170 NIS.

Hitam Masri's northern meat restaurant celebrates this holy day with a "corruption dinner for four," which runs until June 7.

This deal includes four 200-gram burgers with lamb shawarma and pine nuts, chorizos, smoked veal asado or cheddar cheese and pineapple, as well as a fried platter (potatos, schnitzels and mozzarella fingers) or a dish of fries with cheddar and spicy yellow cheese. Price: 199 NIS.

You can find here, among other things, a family combo meal for 120 NIS (instead of 149 NIS), a 20% discount on the meal menu, Angus Ranch for 31 NIS (instead of 41 NIS) and a "munch combine" for 25 NIS (instead of 34 NIS).

The popular delivery chain is also celebrating, with lucrative burger deals and interesting rants about local attacking habits.

According to Ten Bis, the day when the most burgers are ordered in Israel is Thursday, quite as expected, and the first quarter of the year recorded an increase of 20% compared to the quarter that ended 2022. The most burgeographic city is Tel Aviv, again as expected, followed by Jerusalem, Rehovot, Haifa and Petah Tikva.

The classic combination of tomato, pickle, lettuce and onions, as well as fried onions, egg eye and onion jam, and side dishes like French fries (probably) and onion rings.

As for the deals, until the end of the month on the platform you will find a 25% discount on ordering Burger King in Tel Aviv, a similar discount on ordering Captain Burger in Jerusalem, 20% off the dictator's burger in Haifa, the same sale on Burger Bar in Rishon LeZion, and a 20% discount on ordering Moses in Petah Tikva.
